It is established with a view to provide safe guards against the exploitation of Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe to promote and protect their social ,educational and cultural interests.

The Cell has a special focus on the socio economically disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of the rural and urban students.

Vision: To Empower the society by providing awareness on social issues,problems, resources,education ,capacity building programmes skill training.

Mission: To Create Awareness of Self-Worth and Dignity of the Individuals organizes Perception classes.

Objectives: 

• To counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively.
• To ensure provisions of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
  
• To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any event at the campus.
  
• To provide the mechanism to redress the grievance of SC/ST students, if any.
