STUDENT MANAGED HOSTEL

                    The College has an attached Student Managed Hostel. Seats are limited on the basis of department intake. At present total strength of the hostel is 1,100. The Hostlers’  have to bear all the expenses including salaries of the Hostel Staff, Establishment, Electricitybill, Purchase of Goods & Provisions. The Mess Bill Will be calculated in equal shares. The Billing  system is transparent and will be monitered by the students’ representative in all stages. The Government will not bear any expenditure. A new block was added to the hostel in 2019 to provide growing number of students. Women’s hostel under UGC funds has also been constructed this year New Women Hostel for Cluster University is under construction.

                  All students including scholarship holders need to pay the mess bill with in the stipulated time regardless of the fact that they receive this scholarship amount or not. Students who discontinued hostel facility will have to forfeit the establishment fee. All student secretaries discharge the responsibilities towards maintainance of the hostel in good manner they keep the hostel with health and hygiene.
