The department of History was started along with the establishment of the college in the year 1958.Since its inception the department of History plays an unique and vital role in the developmentof the college with lots of anxiety and energy to do our best in every field.

Vision

The vision of the department is to access intellectual curiosity, raising public awareness about the past and its legacies through teaching  ,research  and service oriented activities .We help the students to gain a better understanding of the contemporary world and make predictions of the future. The department of History teaches the students with one and only motto “History has continued to open the ways of the world more and more ,always in its search for something Gold” According to the saying that the purpose of studying History is to built a better world.

We,the department of History is like compass that activates the magnets of curiosity, knowledge and wisdom among the students.We inspire and ,ignite hope and instill the inquisitiveness of learning with lots of  research bent of mind from the subject. Our Aim

Our aim is to help the students  to help themselves in exploring the competitive world.We help the students to compete and come out successful in the competitive examinations like CIVILS ,GROUPS. We  also encourage the students by tapping  their hidden talents like Photography,Calligraphy,Arts and much more.Here History doesn’t remain inside four walls. We support  our students to enter the world in the fields like Archeology,Museums,Research and many more.
