The literary association of our College consists of a group of students who want to go beyond the world of text books and aim at making an indelible mark in the literary field. The association conducts various inter collegiate and intra collegiate competitions like debates, speeches, group discussions, recitations creative writing etc. This is a suitable platform for the students to brush up their literary talents and knowledge and helps inculcate leadership qualities. The association also takes the initiative in encouraging the students to watch classical English movies and Shakespeare plays .Thus Literati is the confluence of talents, imagination and creativity.

Activities include but are not limited to: The weekly presentation of papers written bysociety members, and a debate on its merits; Readings of members work and others', followed by discussion; literary Productions, which are practices in oratory skill; intramural sports teams; service events; and social gatherings.

What does a literary club do?

The Literary Club is a place where students can meet to read and write. The Literary Club has been an ongoing and active club for several years. It is based upon using the creativity skills it takes to be a writer. Club members meet to discuss books and the craft of writing.
